How to Take a Full-Page Screenshot with click data on elements?

Hi there!

My name is Marta, I am a Marketing Manager, and in this video, I will show you how to take a screenshot of the entire page with the data about clicks for specific elements.

Before we start – make sure you subscribe to our channel and don’t miss new videos.

Let’s imagine you are analyzing one of the pages of your website, you opened a heatmap of this page (I will have it opened), you see some interesting numbers, behaviors, and you want to save this page or share it with sb else from your company.

Plerdy created a special plugin for browsers that can take a screenshot of the entire page with the data about clicks. Of course, this is not novel. Many plugins can take a screenshot of the entire page. However, they won’t capture the data about clicks.

So you need to go to https://ux.plerdy.com , install the extension for your web browser and after that you will be able to take a screenshot.

Let’s see how it works.

So I am on the heatmap page. I choose what information I want on the screenshot: click, scroll depth, specific user categories, and time range. Then I click on the plugin icon. It can take a couple of seconds to capture the entire page and load the screenshots.

After it is done, here on the right side, we will be able to get a public link and instantly share the screenshot. Also, we can add a specific user, and we can add comments.

That’s it, super quick and super easy:)

I hope it was helpful, and thanks for watching till the end.

Have a great one!
